Willson
The Will to life
On my way to the Luna Foundation to share Reiki energy with the dogs at the sanctuary, fate intervened in the form of a frail, almost lifeless soul named Willson.
I needed to pick up a friend from the Netherlands who was visiting Aruba, I took a different route that day. Suddenly, there he was, Willson, barely clinging to life as he wandered the streets.

Drawn by an inexplicable force, I followed Willson, and as I drew closer, my heart sank at the sight of him. Without hesitation, I scooped him into my arms and rushed him to safety, heading straight for Luna Foundation. There, amidst the comforting surroundings,
Willson showed a glimmer of hope as he eagerly devoured the food offered to him.

In the days that followed, however, Willson's condition deteriorated rapidly, and a visit to the veterinarian revealed the heartbreaking truth: Willson had cancer, and there was nothing more we could do. Determined to offer him comfort and solace in his final moments, I rushed to his side to bid him farewell.

It was there, in the presence of Willson's gentle spirit, that I had the honor of sharing Reiki energy with him. Though our time together was brief, Willson left an indelible mark on my heart, teaching me invaluable lessons about compassion, resilience, and the transformative power of Reiki.

Willson may have only graced my life for a few short days, but his impact will last a lifetime. He was more than just a dog; he was a teacher, a guide, and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love and healing are possible.

Farewell, dear Willson. Thank you for showing me the way and for the lessons you bestowed upon me. Your spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew you, and your legacy will never be forgotten.
