The Process:

A respectful environment: Sessions take place in a quiet and secure space where the dog feels at ease. The dog can choose to be close or stay at a distance.
The power of meditation: As a practitioner, I share Reiki energy through meditation. This means no physical contact is necessary. The energy flows to the dog, regardless of the distance.
The dog decides: This is where the magic happens. The dog is in charge. It can choose to come closer, move away, or stay where it is. This also applies to the duration of the session.
Respecting boundaries: We pay close attention to the signals the dog gives. If the dog indicates that it's had enough, we fully respect that.

The Process:

Distance Reiki for dogs operates through meditation. As a Reiki practitioner, I meditate, set an intention, and connect with the energy of the dog. I always seek the dog's permission before sharing Reiki energy. The dog may refuse the Reiki energy, but that is rare. I feel is the dogs wants to connect or not.

The dog is free to be in a place where they feel comfortable during the session.

During the session, the dog is in control and may decide how they want to participate. Whether they choose to relax, move around, or engage in any other activity, their preferences are respected.

The Results:

Distance Reiki sessions for dogs can lead to various positive outcomes. Dogs often experience a sense of calm, relief from physical discomfort, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Each dog's response to Reiki energy may vary, but the intention remains to support their holistic health and happiness.

The result is the same as when I am in the same room. For very scared dogs it may be better if I give the session remotely. Then they don't have to worry about a strange person being in their house and the energy can flow better.

As Kathleen Prasad explains, "When an animal says no, if they are aggravated, or simply don't feel like it right now, it is crucial to give them the choice and let them decide when." This method places the animal in control of the healing session, ensuring that they are comfortable and at ease throughout the process.
